Creating a fabulous Easter basket filled with delicious candies can be almost as much fun for you as it is for the child who receives all of those yummy Easter bunnies and chicks sitting in colorful Easter grass just waiting to be devoured. When putting together children’s Easter baskets, it’s important to add in a variety of candies since children are often more intrigued by variety than they are with quantity or quality.

A child’s first glance at his basket is usually the one that gets the biggest smile. So, for children, the presentation is one of the most important aspects of filling the Easter basket. Why not add a small stuffed chick into a basket filled with brightly colored Peeps chicks or a small stuffed rabbit with a bunch of Hershey’s Chocolate Bunnies?

It’s important to think about your child’s likes and dislikes when selecting the candy to fill her basket. Nothing is more disappointing than getting a basket filled with chocolate Easter candy, when what you really want happens to be Bumpy Nerds Jelly Beans, Brach’s Chicks and Rabbits, Pastel Bunny Corn, Bunny Teeth Gummy candy, and Easter Candy Dots. Kids know what they like to eat, and indulging them just this once can be fun.

While it is nice to have your child try some of your old-time favorite candies, try offering them a taste of retro candy treats from your own Easter basket until you are sure that they will like these nostalgic candies. Of course, it is hard to believe that anyone wouldn’t like the sweet sugary goodness of Brach’s Jelly Beans in black, classic, spiced, and speckled varieties or the chewy goodness of Marshmallow Eggs?

As part of the special traditions surrounding Easter, your child probably has a special basket that is used each and every year. You might even have nametags on the baskets just to make it easier to remember which child owns which basket. Why not consider creating a special nametag using the child’s favorite type of Easter candy like Little Patty Peep, Jolly Bobby Rancher, or Trolli Gummy Justin?

If you need to limit the Easter candy that goes into a child’s basket, why not include Easter Poppin Whistle Novelty Candy or Easter Candy Puzzles? Light-up Bunny Suckers and Easter Bunny Candy Bracelets are terrific ideas since they offer a taste of playfulness along with a taste of sweetness. While you are buying your Easter basket candy, don’t forget to select your Plastic Filled Easter Eggs for the egg hunt!

Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs are one of the most popular selling Easter candies. They are just like a peanut butter cup just shaped like an Easter Egg, however they seem to taste so much better. For some time I though it was just me that thought this, however after speaking with many of our customers they agree.

If you are a person who loves peanut butter candies then you must agree that the eggs do taste better then the cups. i think the reason for that is with the eggs you get more peanut butter and the chocolate coating is less.

Whatever the reason is, we have found that many of our customers wait all year long until they become available again and stock up for many months. This is a treat that not only kids like but adults too.

One year before we had our candy store I waited to long to purchase my peanut butter eggs for our kids Easter baskets. Boy I was one bunny in big trouble come Easter morning. After the kids found their Easter baskets they kept hunting and hunting. I finally asked them what they were looking for they said the Easter Bunny didn't put any peanut butter eggs in their baskets so he must of hid them.

I told them that maybe the Easter bunny forgot this year or maybe he ran out of them. They were so very disappointed and I can't begin to tell you how bad i felt.
Here sat two little boys with a huge basket of Easter candy sitting in front of them, with the biggest frowns on their faces.

Don't make the same mistake I did make sure and order your Reese's Peanut Butter eggs early ! We sell them by the single peanut butter egg or for those of you who need a bigger supply you can get them by the whole box.

O'ryans Village has a great selection of Kids Easter Baskets to choose from. Whether you are looking for one with lots of candy or a small amount of candy. Some even have a plush Easter toy.

Kids love the hunt of finding their Easter baskets and the anticipation of what they will find in their baskets. They can't wait to bite the ears of their chocolate bunnies and of course they can't wait to see what color marshmallow peeps they received this year.

They love spending hours digging through their baskets finding all their favorite sweet treats. Then of course they have to go back and check it out again to see if they missed anything or if some sweet treats magically appeared.

Then the fun begins. The trading of the Easter Candy ! I can remember as a kid sitting down with my brother and sister and trading off candy. I always wondering why the Easter Bunny was not more like Santa, why he just didn't remember that I really wasn't fond of those marshmallow eggs, however marshmallow peeps were my favorite. I would get one package of peeps and 4 marshmallow eggs. My sister and I would trade peeps for the marshmallow eggs. My brother didn't like the Easter bunnies with fudge filling so another trade would begin. One of the best parts of Easter was being allowed to eat chocolate bunnies, eggs, jelly beans for breakfast.

This is a perfect size Easter basket for kids there is enough candy included in this basket for the kids to enjoy, but not to much to give them a sugar buzz that will last for days. Included in this basket is an Easter Plush styles do vary, but all of them are cute. You will find not only some chocolate Easter candy in this basket, but also a variety of nostalgic candy.

Another one of our popular Easter gifts is our Bunny Easter Pail it makes a great kids Easter Basket, plus when it is empty the kids have a cute pail to take to the beach, play in the sandbox with or just carry around. Just a few of the Easter candies included in this pail is Hallow chocolate bunny, reese's mini peanut butter eggs, bunny sucker malted milk mini eggs and of course jelly beans.

What ever Easter basket you decide on your little Easter bunny will be hopping around with joy.
