Halloween is a night filled with sugary candy treats, delightful costumes, and tricks that fluctuate between being scary or silly. In fact, on October 31st each year, many children walk into the home of neighbors who have decided to have a little fun of their own and provide both the trick and the treat. Quickly learning to feign fear in order to snag a chocolaty candy bar instead of an apple or bag of spiced wafers, many children become great actors in our own right. From adults who jump out from around the corner of the house in the dark to those who call out for visitors to step right in despite the fact that no one is visible in the home, adults love to play Halloween tricks on unsuspecting trick-or-treaters before tossing Halloween candy into their goodie bags.
